BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT

A long time client of LPA, Blizzard Entertainment has expanded and leased a new space off campus. The two-story existing building was gutted down to the studs for a tenant improvement. The process required an understanding of the way the users functioned in the space, what worked in their current facilities and any improvements that could be integrated into the new layout. The build out includes a full service kitchen operated by Bon Apetit, a kitchen the original building did not have. This addition required approval by the local jurisdiction’s Health Department. The renovation also included a fitness center with showers and lockers, dining and social spaces, and flexible collaborative spaces to encourage ingenuity and innovation in the competitive industry of gaming.

RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinating interior layout with engineering consultants. Weekly meetings with the client and users to understand program and define project requirements. Completion of a Landlord Package, Permit Package and Health Department Package. Construction Administration Observation.
